What Noillirk stores, what it measures, and what it never collects.
Last updated: 2026-10-19
The short version
You can play every Noillirk mode without an account, and we never ask for your name or email to play. Your progress stays in your own browser. We count Daily results anonymously and measure visits with Google Analytics.
What stays in your browser
Your streak, best scores, today's Daily result and a list of recently played prompts are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data, or playing in a private window, removes them.
Anonymous Daily counts
When you finish a Daily climb, the game sends the board position of each of your seven answers (for example, "prompt 3: second place") to our server. We add one to a running count for each position, and that count is what the results screen shows as "players who found the top answer". We do not store the words you typed, your IP address, or anything that identifies you with these counts.
Analytics and hosting
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your approximate location, device and browser under Google's privacy policy. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Accounts
The site has optional sign-in pages that are not needed to play. If you create an account, we store the email address and name you provide in order to run it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising trackers. Data is shared only with the service providers named above, or when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser, clear local storage to reset your progress, or email us to ask about or delete any account data.
